Educational Philosophy

At Gan Chabad Children’s House, we foster each child’s social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development by merging Montessori-inspired curriculum with Judaic customs, traditions, and values.

Our main and first goal is to tend to the social and emotional nature of the child, making sure they feel safe and connected to their community of Morahs (teachers) and peers.

Our Morah’s are gentle guides who carefully plan lessons for the whole child. Through detailed and individualized observations, we scaffold each child’s learning to the next level, keeping children motivated and curious.

Our Montessori-inspired classrooms offer children a variety of materials and experiences that span across different areas. Throughout the room children will find opportunities to explore and strengthen their fine motor, sensorial, language, math, and socio-emotional development.

Throughout our mornings, Jewish values and traditions organically take part of our days. From daily tzedakah, prayers and songs, to our weekly challah baking, we live our Jewish culture in a fun and kid friendly way.
